Kenneth L. Meyers

Kenneth L. Meyers, 54, of Huntington, passed away at 9:56 pm Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Kenneth was born on April 1, 1971, in Wausau, WI, the son of Noel Meyers and Cheryl (Smith) Meyers. He graduated from Owosso High School in Michigan with the class of 1989. Kenneth continued his education in electrical engineering where he earned a bachelor’s degree. On June 7, 1997, in Markle, Indiana, Kenneth happily married the love of his life Melanie R. Burley, following their surprising love-at-first-sight meeting. They shared nearly 30 years building a life together and raising their two biggest blessings, their daughters Toriana & Tiana. Kenneth spent many years working in electrical engineering before becoming self-employed. Kenneth was skillful with his hands; he loved to work on anything electrical. He often took pride in repairing household equipment and fixing up gadgets for friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, working on the farm, listening to music and playing pool. Whether it was tending to his daily tasks or relaxing with his favorite tunes especially Air Supply, after a long day, Kenneth found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Melanie & Kenneth are survived by their two loving daughters, Toriana (Daniel Lowes) Meyers of Huntington, IN, Tiana Meyers of Roanoke, IN; Melanie’s mother Sharon Burley of Roanoke, IN; Kenneth’s parents Noel and Cheryl Meyers of Twin Lake, MI; Melanie’s brother, Jason Burley of North Manchester, IN; Kenneth’s two sisters, Jill Martin of Twin Lakes, MI, Brenda Davis of Owosso, MI; many nieces and nephews. They are preceded in death by Melanie’s father, Robert W. Burley. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Adkins Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Adkins Bailey-Love Mortuary. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington.
