Jeffrey G. Paul

Jeffrey G. Paul, 74, of Huntington, passed away peacefully at 4:12 am Friday, May 30, 2025, at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Jeff was born on March 7, 1951, in Huntington, IN, the son of Glen Paul and Edna (Crago) Paul. He graduated from Huntington North High School with the class of 1969. Jeff married the love of his life Mary Jo Hedrick on October 11, 1975, in Huntington County, IN. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, marked by shared milestones and a deep commitment to one another. Jeff was a man of faith, dedicating himself to St. Mary Catholic Church, where he actively volunteered his time and energy. His contributions to the church reflected his steadfast belief in service to others and his dedication to his spiritual community. In addition to his involvement at the church, Jeff was a prominent member of the Moose Lodge of Huntington. Over the years, he held numerous offices within the organization, including the prestigious position of Governor. Professionally, Jeff spent 40 years with Huntington Ready Mix, where he worked as a loyal member of their team until his retirement. Jeff was a person who found immense joy in life’s simpler pleasures, like fishing, feeding the birds and playing a game or two of Euchre. For Jeff, volunteering was about more than just the act of service, it was a lesson in compassion, and the joy of giving back. His children learned by example, understanding the importance of contributing to something greater than themselves. The Moose Lodge became a second home on Friday nights where they would cook and serve hundreds of fish dinners throughout the years. His leadership and devotion to others exemplified his ability to bring people together and foster a sense of camaraderie and purpose. Most importantly Jeff loved his family and all the wonderful memories they made on family trips to Garden City, SC. It wasn’t a destination; it was a beautiful thirty-year tradition with warm costal vibes and the joy of uninterrupted time with his loved ones. Jeff’s legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire all who remember him. Jeff is survived by his loving Wife, Mary Jo Paul of Huntington, IN; Daughter, Andrea (Paddy) McCune of Andrews, IN; Son, Adam (Danielle) Paul of Fort Wayne, IN; Grandchildren, Chloe & Delanie; Brother, Jim (Cindy) Paul of Huntington, IN: Sister, Janell K. Simons of Roanoke, IN. He is preceded in death by his Father, Glen Omer Paul, Mother, Edna R. Paul, and Sister, Janice A. Husband. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church 903 N. Jefferson St. Huntington, IN 46750. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be take place later in Mt. Calvery.
