Timothy "Tim" W. Kimmel

January 9, 1954 - May 25, 2022

Timothy "Tim" W. Kimmel, 68, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Huntington, passed away at 5:33 am Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Majestic Care. Tim was born on January 9, 1954 in Huntington, IN, the son of Daniel J. Kimmel and Carol V. (Morris) Kimmel. He graduated from Huntington North High School with the Class of 1972 and he attended IUPU Ft. Wayne. He retired in 2016 as a Journeyman Pressman from Ft. Wayne Newspapers. Tim lived a very full and creative life. His passions include family and friends, exploring and mapping Indiana parks and preserves, and capturing their beauty with his photography. He researched the Kimmel family genealogy, sharing his findings worldwide. He wrote and played beautiful music, and he enjoyed creating websites and writing fan fiction. Survivors include his Father, Daniel J. Kimmel of Huntington, IN; Two Brothers, Thomas (Linda) Kimmel of Huntington, IN, Tyler (Marie) Kimmel of Markle, IN; Four Sisters, Susan Kimmel of Indianapolis, IN, Sally Kimmel of Huntington, IN, Sandra (Kevin) Shoemaker of Markle, IN, Sara (Robert) Schnepp of Huntington, IN; Eight Nieces and Nephews; and Eleven Great Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Carol V. Kimmel. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm ‑ 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Bailey‑Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Bailey‑Love Mortuary with Pastor Adam Jones officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
