Sue Ann Nelson

Sue Ann Nelson, 75, of Huntington, passed away at 6:55 pm Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Miller's Merry Manor in Huntington, Indiana. Sue was born on March 24, 1947, in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Dale Reed and Gladys (Burley) Reed. She attended Huntington High School and married Crow Nelson on July 31, 1964, in North Manchester, IN. Sue was a manager at Taco Bell and also an employee at Arby's. She absolutely loved to go fishing, her and family even had their own "club" of fishermen. Sue also enjoyed 'coon hunting, crocheting, and baking cakes. Survivors include her husband, Crow Nelson of Huntington, IN; Daughter, Mary Wiley of Huntington, IN; Son, Rodnie Nelson of Huntington, IN; Sister, Sharon DeWitt of Warsaw, IN; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Reed, mother, Gladys Reed, son, Eric W. Nelson, daughter, Candy Graves, brother, William Reed, brother, Thomas Reed, sister, Kay Smith, sister, Connie Holmes, and sister, Laura Newsome. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 3, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN, with Rev. Larry Hart officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Star of Hope Cemetery.
