Robert R. Price

April 24, 1940 - April 8, 2022

Robert R. Price, 81, of Huntington, passed away at 7:30 am Friday, April 8, 2022, at his residence. Robert was born on April 24, 1940, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of Robert Price and Heneretta (Kikly) Davis. He graduated from North side High School with the class of 1958 and proudly severed his country in the United States Army. He received his Associates Degree from Ivy Tech in robotic and digital electronics. He was a member of the 101st Airborne Division Association “Screaming Eagles” out of Fort Campbell Kentucky. He married Carol Jean Owen on June 4, 1961, they shared 54 years of marriage before she preceded in death. Robert found love again and married Connie Rae Kinsey on October 28, 2017, in Markle, IN. He retired from Navistar of Ft. Wayne, In after 25 years of service. He was an avid world traveler and enjoyed restoring vintage cars. He loved to get in his car and drive with no set place in mind. Survivors include his wife, Connie Rae Price of Huntington, IN; two daughters, Lorey A. (Bill) Cape of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kelly J. Carter of Ft. Wayne, IN; two sons, Robert R. Price of Ft. Wayne, IN, Marc A. (Lisa) Price of Clarksville, TN; sister, Barbara Doehrman of Ft. Wayne, IN; brother, Jack (Janice) Price of Turkey Lake, IN; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Price, mother, Heneretta Mae Price, and previous wife, Carol Jean Price.
