Patsy J. Smith, age 73, of Huntington, died at 5:32 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Andrews. Visitation will be from 3 - 7 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Chaplain Ed Hippensteel and Jim Koontz officiating. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services for Huntington County or Love INC, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana, 46750. Patsy was born on September 30, 1946 in Garrett, Indiana, the daughter of Lauren J. and Phyllis V. (Renkenberger) Smith. She graduated from Garrett High School in 1964. Patsy owned McDermott’s Irish Pub in Huntington and was the past owner of the Habitat Gift and Bath Shop. She managed the Brown and Rowe Shoe Store and the Filling Station in Huntington and was a member of American Legion Posts #7 and #85. She enjoyed interior design. Survivors include daughters Kimberly (Larry) Bowen of Andrews and Krista Davidson of Huntington, a sister, Nancy Lantz of Garrett, brothers Thomas (Jane) Smith of Lagrange and Jerry Smith of Auburn, grandchildren Nathan (Carrie) Bowen of Huntington, BreeAnn (Zac) Sorg of Columbia City, and Ryan Snowden and Cole Ehler, both of Huntington, six great grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kraig Davidson, and a brother, Ted Smith.
