Nancy A. Ashbaugh Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nancy A. Ashbaugh, 76, of Huntington, passed away surrounded by her loving family at 11:04 pm Friday, May 27, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, IN. Nancy was born on June 19, 1945 in Van Wert, OH, the daughter of Charles Font and Almeda (Aldrich) Font. She attended Van Wert High School and married Wayne L. Ashbaugh on January 14, 1963 in Van Wert, OH. She retired from HK Porter after 20 years of service. Nancy was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church and the VFW Post 2689 Auxiliary. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time at the lake. She loved crocheting, reading, baking, and being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her loving Husband of 59 years, Wayne L. Ashbaugh, Sr. of Huntington, IN; Son, Wayne (Kimberly) Ashbaugh Jr. of Anderson, IN; Three Daughters, Christina Shockome of Wayne, MI, Teresa Weaver of Huntington, IN, Kimberly (Larry Fultz, Jr.) Gamble of Wabash, IN; Fourteen Grandchildren; Twenty-Three Great Grandchildren; and her Brother and Sister in Law, Chuck and Mary Fuller of Huntington, IN. She is preceded in death by her Father, Charles Font, Mother, Almeda Font, Brother, Carl Font, and Brother, Ronnie Font. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy Lorenz officiating. There will be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service. Private Family Burial will be in Andrews Riverside Cemetery in Andrews, IN.
