Mary C. Musselman

Mary C. Musselman, age 98, of Huntington, died at 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Huntington. Visitation will be from 9 – 11 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2020 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Monday at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Larry Musselman officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Roanoke. Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana, 46750. Mary was born on May 6, 1921 in Roanoke, the daughter of Melvin E. and Lily (Daily) Yahne. She married Lawrence E. Musselman on December 23, 1939 in Huntington; he preceded her in death on June 16, 1992. Mary worked at Amoco Food Shop and Sweet Cup; she later retired from Huntington College after six years in food service there. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved playing with kids. She is survived by a daughter, Myrna J. (John) Criss of Milton, Florida, a son, Kenneth (Mary) Musselman of Columbia City, five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Debra Musselman, brothers Lawrence E. Yahne, Burnell Yahne, and William V. Yahne, and a sister, Vivian Burnworth.
