Margaret "Maggie" M. Thoma

Margaret "Maggie" M. Thoma, 82, of Huntington, passed away at 10:38 am Monday, May 16, 2022 at her residence. Maggie was born on November 7, 1939 in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Porter Haneline and Viola (Bailey) Haneline. She graduated from Huntington High School with the Class of 1957. She retired from General Electric after 30 years of service, Maggie was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed bowling, fishing, and going on cruises and gambling trips with her sister. She loved driving around Huntington looking at her old houses she used to live in. Maggie also loved playing computer games, especially Euchre. Survivors include her Two Daughters, Sheri Heffelfinger of Huntington, IN, Tamara (Jane) Heffelfinger of Austin, TX; Two Sons, Roger (Christi) Heffelfinger of Huntington, IN, James Prough of Huntington, IN; Sister, Sharon (Richard) Lautzenheiser of Bluffton, IN; Brother, Leroy (Teresa) Haneline of Pleasant Lake, IN; Five Grandchildren, Matthew (Crystal) Hogan of Goshen, IN, Krystal (William) Morrow of Huntington, IN, Edward Heffelfinger of Huntington, IN, Cori Heffelfinger of Huntington, IN, and Tyler Prough of Huntington, IN; Three Great Grandchildren, Hailee Hogan of Goshen, IN, Kylie Morrow of Huntington, IN, and William Morrow of Huntington, IN; Uncle, Fred Haneline of Huntington, IN; Aunt, Lucile Thoma of Markle, IN; and her Cousin, Shirley Northcutt of Ft. Wayne, IN. She is preceded in death by her Father, Porter Haneline, and Mother, Viola Mae Haneline. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Alan MeNeely officiating. Burial will be in Haverstock Cemetery at a later date.
