Lois A. Drabenstot Feemster

Lois A. Drabenstot-Feemster, 81 of Huntington passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Heritage Point of Huntington. Lois was born on November 7, 1939 in Huntington, Indiana, the daughter of Lyle Watson and Marie "Hoch" Watson. She graduated from West Rock Creek High School in Huntington County, Indiana with the class of 1957. She married G. LaVon Drabenstot on October 15, 1961 in Majenica, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on April 11, 1999. Lois found love again and united in marriage with Carl Feemster on June 18, 2005 in Markle, Indiana. Lois was a dedicated employee of the Huntington County Community School Corporation for over 44 years. She retired in 2005 as school secretary. She was a member of the Markle United Methodist Church. She often volunteered at her church. She was an avid IU basketball fan and enjoyed cheering on her grandson in various sports. Family was very important to Lois and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her Husband, Carl Feemster of Huntington, IN; a Daughter, Debi (Dan) Bonner of Huntington, IN; a Sister, Betty Smith of Huntington, IN; a Grandson, Adam Bonner of Huntington, IN; Two Step-Sons, Larry Feemster (Terrie) of Warren, IN; and Rick Feemster of Huntington, IN; Three Step-Daughters, Patty (Ryan) Warner of Huntington, IN;, Sharon (Jeff) Bowman of Bluffton, IN; and Brenda (Roger) Crawford of Chubbuck, ID;, Eleven Step-Grandchildren and several Step-Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Father, Lyle Watson, her Mother, Marie "Hoch" Watson and her first husband, G. LaVon Drabenstot. Private service will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN with Pastor Steven McPeek officiating.
