Jeffrey James Dunnuck, 52, of Huntington, passed away at 10:25 pm Thursday, July 28, 2022, in Fort Wayne, IN. Jeffrey was born on June 6, 1970, in Columbia City, IN, the son of James Dunnuck and Jean (Wolf) Dunnuck. He graduated from Columbia City High School with the class of 1989 and went on to attended classes at Indiana University. He married Melanie M. Schenkel on July 20, 2002, in Huntington, IN. He was employed by Wayne Chemical Company of Ft Wayne, IN. for the past 10 years. He enjoyed the outdoors rather it be hiking, fishing, or sitting by the campfire. He was an avid sports fan and cheered on the Indiana Pacers and Indiana University Hoosier basketball and football team. He was passionate about his family and loved to take walks along the river with his children. Survivors include his wife, Melanie M. Dunnuck of Huntington, IN; two sons, Thomas Dunnuck of Huntington, IN, Dylan Dunnuck of Huntington, IN; daughter, Ella Dunnuck of Huntington, IN; father, James (Sharon) Dunnuck; four sisters, Kate (Rod) Trahin of IN, Shelley Sendelbach of CO, Anne (Bill) Terry of IN, Amy (Matt) Carpenter of IN; three brothers, Dennis Dunnuck of CO, Lee Sendelbach of WA, Kevin Sendelbach of FL; In-Laws, Steven (Rita) Schenkel of FL; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his dog Birdie. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Dunnuck. Private family service will be held at a later date.
