James W. Crawford

James W. Crawford, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 12:07 pm Monday, March 14, 2022 at Saint Anne Randallia Place, Ft. Wayne, IN. James was born on December 31, 1931 in Lebanon, IN, the son of Paul Crawford and Edna (Stevenson) Crawford. He graduated from South Bend Central High School with the Class of 1950 and was a 1955 Purdue University graduate where he earned his Pharmacy Degree. James married Carolyn W. Drabenstot on October 20, 1956 in Huntington, IN. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2020. He served as a 2nd Lt. in the United States Army and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. He retired as a Pharmacist in 2004 from CVS Pharmacy (formerly Hooks) after 50+ years of service. Survivors include his four sons, John L. (Beth) Crawford of Ft Wayne, IN, Dave P. (Cathy) Crawford of Ft. Wayne, IN, Steven J. (Tonia) Crawford of Ft Wayne, IN, Richard R. (Nicole) Crawford of Chattanooga, TN; thirteen Grandchildren; and 17 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Carolyn W. Crawford, Father, Paul H. Crawford, Mother, Edna Mae Crawford, Brother, Donald E. Crawford, and Brother, Richard D. Crawford. Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Star of Hope Cemetery.
