F. Colleen Roth, 90, of Huntington, passed away at 4:40 pm Friday, January 28, 2022, at Miller's Merry Manor in Wabash, IN. Colleen was born on December 22, 1931, in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Buford Beals and Irene (Graham) Beals. She graduated from Monument City High School with the class of 1949. She married the love of her life Richard "Dick” B. Roth on November 2, 1949, in Lincolnville, IN. They shared 64 years of marriage before he preceded her in death. She had worked at JC Pennys and the Dairy Queen on Etna Ave both of Huntington for many years however, she mostly was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of the Pilcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church of Huntington. Colleen enjoyed traveling, camping, reading, and baking the best desserts. She had a playful side and liked to joke around with others. She also had a crafty side and made dolls for her grandkids. Family was the most important thing in Colleen’s life. Survivors include her three granddaughters, Holli (Scott) Shinholt of Van Buren, IN, Heidi (Sam) Beachy of Milford, IN, Angela J (Scott) Smyser of Huntington, IN; three grandsons, Doug (Kelly) Graft of Andrews, IN, Kyle R. (Melissa) Graft of Andrews, IN, Cory (Jill) Worthington of Huntington, IN; two sisters, Jackie Preston of Huntington, IN, Arlene (Vern) Hinen of New Paris, IN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" B. Roth, three daughters, Cynthia R. Graft, Carla D. Worthington, Cathy D. Krudop, father, Buford H. Beals, mother, Irene Beals, three brothers, Dewey Beals, Troy Beals, Gene Beals, and three sisters, Marlene Long, Reba I. Dolby, Dotty Rose. Due to the weather, Visitation will now be from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Ferrell Long officiating. Burial will be in Monument City Cemetery in Huntington County, IN.
