Donald W. Branscomb

Donald W. Branscomb, 62, of Huntington, passed away at 1:30 pm Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Donald was born on January 5, 1960, in Huntington, IN, the son of Burwin Branscomb and Patricia (Snyder) Branscomb. He attended Huntington North High School and received his GED. He married the love of his life Mary K. Mitchell on April 10, 1982, in South Whitley, IN. He had worked for HK Porter of Huntington for 12 years and retired from Ormsby Appliance of Huntington after 27 years of service. Donald enjoyed reading, fishing, and classic rock music. He was a jokester and liked to make up funny lyrics to songs. He was a big Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals fan. He loved to take trips to Gatlinburg Tennessee and hangout with his dogs. Donald was passionate about his family and spending time with each of them. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Mary K. Branscomb of Huntington, IN; son, Tanner W. Branscomb of Huntington, IN; daughter, Courtney J. (Don) Whitney of Huntington, IN; two granddaughters, Serayna, Shacora; grandson, Semaj; sister, Rita (Dan) Clark of Huntington, IN; sister In-Law, Anna Slone of KY; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Burwin Branscomb, mother, Patricia Branscomb, and sister, Debra Branscomb. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Jarrod Ball officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
