David Joseph Boyle Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Joseph Boyle, age 75, of Huntington, died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. David was born on September 14, 1944 in Huntington, the son of Edwin and Helen (Cull) Boyle. He was a 1962 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. David attended college at Ball State University and worked for the United States Postal Service in Fort Wayne as a mail carrier, retiring in 2001 after 19 years of service. He married Anna “Annie” Eiting on May 22, 2000 in Huntington. David was a member of American Legion Post #85 and VFW Post #2689, both in Huntington. Survivors include his wife, Annie Boyle of Huntington and stepchildren Gary (Allison) Huth of Warsaw, Sabrina (Jim) Wetzel of Florida, Regina (Ryan) Bartrom of Huntington, Kimberly Lafollette of Florida, Leslie (Brook) Murphy of North Manchester, and Penny (Pat) Brown of Florida. Also surviving are a sister, Susie (Steve) Zimmerman, a brother, Fred (Caroline Shattuck) Boyle, both of Fort Wayne, and several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Boyle.
