Billy W. Tollett Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Billy W. Tollett, age 65, of Huntington, went to be with Jesus at 1:36 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Major Gerald Smelser officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Huntington County. Preferred memorials are to Bailey-Love Mortuary, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana, 46750. Billy was born on January 30, 1954 in Huntington, the son of Elmer Tollett Jr. and Bernice (Louthan) Tollett. He attended Huntington North High School and was a bricklayer for Atlas in Wabash. He loved to go camping with his family or just go for a drive. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his friends. Survivors include a son, Jeremiah W. Tollett of Huntington, a daughter, Emily “Rachel” (Jacob) Sullivan-Lawson of Sweetser, and sisters Barbara Rolph and Joy Ashby-Yeiter, both of Huntington. Also surviving are two grandchildren that he absolutely adored, Seth Williams of Auburn and Brooke Sullivan of Sweetser and his three loving Old English Bulldogs, Sledge, Diesel, and Rosie. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Danny Tollett, and a sister, Nancy Tollett-Covey.
