Betty Ann Pike

Betty Ann Pike, 86, of Huntington, passed away at 12:00 am Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Betty was born on August 28, 1935 in Marion, IN, the daughter of Arthur Planck and Ethel (Updyke) Planck. She graduated from Marion High School with the Class of 1953 and married Gary Sinclair on May 28, 1957 in Marion, IN. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1986. Betty was then united in marriage to Robert Pike on April 18, 1998 in Huntington, IN. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2014. She retired from Huntington University as the Secretary to the Registrar after 25 years of service. Betty was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her two daughters, Kimberly (Samuel G. III) Sinclair Johnson of West Lafayette, IN, Pamela (Thomas) Sinclair Powers of Brookfield, IL; sister, Helen (Gene) Davison of Marion, IN; four grandchildren, Caroline (Keith Smith) Johnson of Minneapolis, MN, Elizabeth Johnson of Kansas City, KS, Madison Powers (fiancée Brooks Fishell) of Cincinnati, OH, and McKenna Powers of Nashville, TN; nephew Daniel Davison (Jennifer) and their daughter McKenna of Weston, OH. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Gary Sinclair, spouse, Robert Pike, mother, Ethel Planck, father, Arthur Planck, sister, Alice Planck, and brother, Robert Planck. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Timothy Lorenz officiating. Private Family Burial will be in Estates of Serenity in Marion, IN.
