Thomas A. Seifferlein

Thomas A. Seifferlein, 80, of Bluffton, formerly of Huntington, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at his residence. Thomas was born on January 6, 1944, in New Orleans, LA, the son of Hilmer Seifferlein and Maxine (Parsons) Seifferlein. He graduated from South Bend Washington Clay High School and received his master's degree in education from Ball State University. He married Suzanne Thomas on July 26, 1968, in Huntington, IN. She preceded him in death on July 6. 2021. Thomas retired from Huntington Community Schools where he taught Industrial Arts Technology at Riverview Junior High. He also Coached both Football and Basketball for many years. He enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and visiting the buffalo at Ouabache State Park. He loved traveling and attending his grandkids sporting events. Thomas was an avid IU Basketball fan and Notre Dame Football fan. He was a master woodworker and 100 percent devoted to his wife Suzanne. Survivors include his Daughter, Kristen (Shawn) Wall of Ossian, IN; Son, Todd (Stephanie) Seifferlein of Fishers, IN; Grandson, Benjamin (Lauren) Seifferlein of Columbia, MO; Five Granddaughters, Alexandria (Nick) James of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jorey (Bryndon) Williams of Ft. Wayne, FL, Abigail Seifferlein of Fishers, IN, Samantha Seifferlein of Fishers, IN, Emily Seifferlein of Fishers, IN; Two Great Grandchildren, Thea Rae James and Bryndon Williams II. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Suzanne Seifferlein, Father, Hilmer Seifferlein, and Mother, Maxine Seifferlein. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2024, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2024, at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Jason Fields officiating. Entombment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington at a later date.
