Robert Kriss Mygrant

Robert Kriss Mygrant, 65, of Huntington, passed away at 3:05 am Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Ft. Wayne, IN. Robert was born on October 12, 1955 in Tallahassee, FL, the son of Carl "Ike" D. Mygrant and Fannie (Tackett) Mygrant. He was a graduate of Huntington North High School and married Susan Farthing on August 23, 1975 in Huntington. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Huntington Baptist Church. He was the Owner of Huntington Alternator and Starter, and Mygrant Muffler Center in Decatur and he also worked at Stultz Muffler. He loved golfing and watching TV, especially Star Trek. Robert also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. After his retirement, Robert enjoyed restoring his 1975 Plymouth Duster. Survivors include his Spouse, Susan Mygrant of Huntington, IN; Son, Jeremy (Amy) Mygrant of Warren, IN; Two Daughters, Kristy (Duncan) Bowie of Winterport, ME; Amy (Mike) Volka of Huntington, IN; Ten Grandchildren, Dylan Stansell, Colton Everidge, Sylar Everidge; Kira Stansell, Anna Mygrant, Alivia Everidge, Quinn Volka; Hannah Bowie, Brendan Bowie, and Eilidh Bowie; Brother, Carl (Pam) Mygrant II of Huntington, IN; Two Sisters, Lisa K. (Lori) Mygrant of Huntington, IN, Angie (Joe) Vance of Huntington, IN; Several Nieces and Nephews; Several Aunts and Uncles; and his Best Friend and Loving Dog, Max. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Fannie Mygrant, Father, Carl "Ike" D. Mygrant, Brother, Larry Mygrant, Sister, Janiece Mygrant Hardacre, Brother, Mark Mygrant, and Grandson, Kenzie Bowie. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday, July 26, 2021 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Amos Albright officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
