Robert O. Bruch

Robert O. Bruch, 70, of Huntington, passed away at 4:32 pm Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. Robert was born on June 22, 1955, in Huntington, IN, the son of Gerald Bruch and Joanna (Deal) Bruch. He graduated from Huntington North High School with the class of 1974. He promptly began his career in the construction industry, subsequently holding positions at Our Sunday Visitor, Bowman Builders, Ditch-Way, and Spiker Construction. Robert concluded his professional journey with Manns Heating & Cooling, retiring after 12 years of dedicated service. He belonged to the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge Chapter #837 in Huntington, IN and during retirement he previously worked there as a custodian. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the mountains of Tennessee. He was skilled in woodworking, creating and repairing projects. Robert raced at Bunker Hill in his 20’s then became a spectator from the stands. He appreciated classic tractors and going to car shows to check out muscle cars. Best known for his quick wit, storytelling and work ethic. The most import job he ever had was providing for his family. Robert will be greatly missed by his loved ones. Robert demonstrated remarkable generosity by choosing to become a donor, an action that has deeply affected numerous lives, such as helping restore someone's vision. Survivors include his Son, Benjamin Bruch of Huntington, IN; Two Daughters, Amanda Bruch of Huntington, IN, Traci Briggs of Huntington, IN; Five Grandchildren, Chole, Brandon, Drew, Delanie, and Daxton. He is preceded in death by his Father, Gerald Bruch, Mother, Joanna Bruch, Sister, Linda Gregory, Brothers, Dennis Bruch & Gary Bruch. Per Roberts request, no public services will be held.
