Rhonda L. Taylor

Rhonda L. Taylor, 66, of Huntington, passed away at 4:56 am Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Rhonda was born on June 8, 1959 in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Carl Burley and Sharon (Houser) Burley. She graduated from Huntington North High School with the Class of 1977 and married James Mike Taylor on September 10, 1976 in Huntington, IN. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2009. Rhonda worked at Pyles and United Technologies in Huntington, IN. She enjoyed traveling, casino games, cooking, baking, and sewing. Rhonda also loved to spend time with her family. Survivors include her Two Daughters, Michelle L. Sparks of Huntington, IN, Tiffany L. (Nick) Anderson of Fort Wayne, IN; Son, Matthew D. Taylor of Huntington, IN; Two Sisters, Debra (Adam) Smith of Huntington, IN, Carla J. Chenier of Burlington, MI; Four Grandchildren, Lindsey M. (Zach) Sparks Reynolds of Roanoke, VA, Kylie A. (Parker) Sparks of Ft. Wayne, IN, Evelyn M. Anderson of Ft. Wayne, IN, Westley M. Anderson of Ft. Wayne, IN; Step Brother, Bob (Dorinda) Schwartz of IA; Two Step Sisters, Karen Dennler of IA, Kimberly Bailey of Cudahy, WI; Sister in Law, Robin Taylor of Huntington, IN; Three Brother in Laws, Bob (Denise) Taylor of Laketon, IN, Stan (Deb) Taylor of Uniondale, IN, Von R. Pogue of Huntington, IN; several Nieces & Nephews; and her long time companion, Ricky D. Foster. She is preceded in death by her Husband, James Mike Taylor, Son, Shawn M. Taylor, Sister, Cheryl A. Pogue, Father, Carl Burley, Mother, Sharon Burley, Niece, Jamie Hoover, and Step Mother, Patricia Burley. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday, September 15, 2025 at Adkins Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Adkins Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Jason Fields officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
