Joyce M. Denton

Joyce M. Denton, 89, of Huntington, passed away at 10:02 pm Monday, October 10, 2022 at Miller's Merry Manor, Huntington, IN. Joyce was born on December 29, 1932 in Rochester, IN, the daughter of William Hardacre and Nettie (Rinearson) Hardacre. She graduated from Monument City High School and married Richard M. Denton on November 4, 1950 in Huntington, IN. She retired from Wabash Magnetics as a Press Operator in 1995 after 28 years of service. Joyce loved to crochet and sew. She belonged to the local Quilt Club in Huntington. She made many baby quilts and gave them to Huntington Parkview Hospital to give to the newborns born in Huntington. After retirement, Joyce volunteered at LOVE INC. Survivors include her Husband, Richard M. Denton of Huntington, IN; Two Sons, Ronald M. (Debbie) Denton of Wabash, IN, Terry L. (Kathy) Denton of Huntington, IN; Daughter, Cynthia Foshee of Markle, IN; Five Grandchildren, Nettie (Andy) Alspath of Huntington, IN, Josh (Dawn) Foshee of Roanoke, IN, Joey (Marilyn) Foshee of Zanesville, IN, Jamie Cowart of AK; and Brandy Denton of Wabash, IN; Four Great Grandchildren, Ashlee (Justin) Garrison of Markle, IN, Cooper Foshee of Huntington, IN, Noah Foshee of CA, Janson Cowart of UT; and One Great Great Granddaughter, Stella Garrison of Markle, IN. She is preceded in death by her Father, William Hardacre, Mother, Nettie Hardacre, Brother, William Hardacre, Brother, Edward L. Hardacre, Sister, Imogene Shedlocke, Sister, Evelyn Flynn, Brother, Lamoine Hardacre, Brother, Wayne Hardacre, Sister, Josephine McClain, Brother, Asa Hardacre, Brother, Earnie Hardacre, Sisters, Mary, Esther, and Dottie, Son in law, Billy Jack Foshee, and Grandson, Nathan Lee Denton. Visitation will be from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Friday, October 14, 2022 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, October 14, 2022 at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Marion.
