Charles E. Flaugh Jr.

Charles Edward Flaugh Jr., 84, of Huntington, passed away at 2:18 am Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Charles was born on April 27, 1941, in Huntington, IN, the son of Charles Flaugh Sr. and Ada (Vought) Flaugh. He graduated from Andrews High School with the class of 1960 and married the love of his life Beverly Anne Ballard on April 11, 1970. They shared 50 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on October 18, 2020. He retired from Meldisco Shoe after 21 years of service. Charles was a faithful member of Huntington Church of the Brethren and past member of Andrews Lions Club & Moose Lodge #837 of Huntington. Charles loved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for mushrooms, and working in his garden. He was passionate about classic cars. He started the Lime City Cursers so he could share this love with others. Since childhood, Charles wanted to be a race car driver. Going to the racetrack made that dream come true. He inspired people by following his interests and dreams. He will be remembered for his love of nature, cars, and bringing people together. Survivors include his, Two Sisters, Sharon Runion of Huntington, IN, Jill Tribolet of Andrews, IN; Brother, Roger (Diane) Flaugh of Huntington, IN; Two Step-Daughters, Barbara Trainer of Huntington, IN, Diana (Roger) Watkins of Wabash, IN; Step-Son, Mark (Denise) McNally of Huntington, IN; Grandchildren, Chris (Melissa) Trainer, Scott (Marla) Trainer, Aaron (Mindy) McNally, Steve (Jenny) McNally all of Huntington, Mark (Amber) McNally Jr of Warsaw, Nicholas (Beverly) Watkins, Matthew (Andrea) Watkins, Andrew Watkins all of Wabash; Eighteen Great Grandchildren and Two Great-Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Father, Charles E. Flaugh Sr., Mother, Ada Flaugh, Wife, Beverly Anne Flaugh, Brother, Lloyd Flaugh, Brother, Denney Flaugh, Step-Son, Steven McNally, Sister, Ruth Yeager. Family will have a private graveside service in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
