Cynthia A. Albertson

Cynthia A. Albertson, 71, of Hamilton, formerly of Huntington, passed away at 1:35 pm Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Laurels of DeKalb, Butler, IN. Cynthia was born on October 30, 1952 in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Robert Borton and Rita (Rice) Borton. She graduated from Huntington Catholic High School in 1971 and married Dennis L. Albertson on May 15, 1993 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntington. She retired from Magnetek in 1993 after 25 years of service. She was a devout member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington, and a member of St. Michael the Archangel in Waterloo, IN. Cynthia enjoyed photography and traveling to Hawaii and Europe. She loved her cats & birds. Cynthia was always a happy, positive person, who loved life. She always had something good to say about everyone, and always had a smile on her face. Survivors include her loving Husband, Dennis L. Albertson of Hamilton, IN; Brother, Todd (Lori) Borton of Huntington, IN; Sister, Eileen Farrell of Ft. Wayne, IN; Two Brother in Laws, Tim Albertson, Dean Brankle; Two Brother in Law & Sister in Laws, Jeff (Deanna) Albertson, Harold (Danielle) Albertson; Father in Law, Richard Albertson; Niece, Mary (Nick) Brown of Huntington who thought of Cynthia as her 2nd Mom; and many other Nieces & Nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Father, Robert Borton, Mother, Rita Borton, Sister, Pamela Borton, Brother, Neil Borton, Mother in Law, Janet Albertson, Sister in Law, Deborah Brankle and Sister in Law, Tiffany Albertson. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday, September 7, 2024 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, with Fr. Tony Steinacker officiating. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 9:30 am. Burial will be in Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
