Willia D. (Sexton)
Feltner, age 72, of Huntington,
died at 7:10 a.m. Thursday (June 5, 2008) at Miller’s Merry
Manor in Huntington.
Willia worked production at Essex and Dana plant in Andrews. She was employed there from 1962 until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Huntington.
Willia was born June 21, 1935 in Defiance, KY the daughter of Bruce and Cora (Thomas) Sexton. She married John C. Feltner on September 7, 1951 in Scuddy, Kentucky. John preceded her in death on December 14, 2000.
Survivors include a daughter – Anna (Everett) Standafer of Andrews, IN; a son – Michael J. (Amber) Feltner of Huntington; two brothers – Charles Sexton of St. Charles, Missouri and Sam Sexton of St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, a sister – Margaret Adams, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Monday (June 9, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive Huntington, IN with Rev. Donald Arms officiating the service. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Andrews, IN.
