Obituaries
W. Darrell Lindsey, age 72,

Markle Road, Huntington, died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday (July 28,
2007) at his home.
Mr. Lindsey was a lifetime resident of Huntington County retiring in 1994 from Majestic Corporation in Huntington, after working for over 25 years in production. He was a member of the Salvation Army in Huntington. Darrell was an avid fisherman and an I.U. basketball fan.
Darrell was born on July 29, 1934 in Huntington, the son of James Willard and Christina Baker Lindsey. Darrell married Shirley A. Randall on June 6, 1953 in Wabash, IN., she survives.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years – Shirley A. Lindsey of Huntington; three daughters – Vickie (Jim) Sours of Ft. Wayne, Sheryl Lauderdale of Ft. Wayne, and Christie (Erik) Schull of Knightstown; two sisters – Doris (Howard) Pulley of Columbia City and Rose (Harold) Fry of Big Lake; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One brother – Darwin Lindsey and a sister – Shirley Miller precede him in death.
A private graveside gathering of family will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (July 31, 2007) in the Gardens of Memory Chapel. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
