Traci R. Smith, age 37, 341 Allen Street, Huntington died at 2:46 p.m. Friday (May 16, 2008) at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

     Ms. Smith was a lifetime resident of Huntington and a member of Union Church.  She was most comfortable surrounded by her family.  She loved shopping, especially at a “Big” Walmart and sharing her love with “Little Yorky.”  She loved attending church, seeing her church family, and she enjoyed spending time at Coffee d’Vine.

     Traci was born on June 27, 1970 in Huntington the daughter of Floyd Bennett and Sue (Simmons) Smith.  She attended Huntington North High School.

     Survivors include her father – Floyd Smith of Huntington; three sisters - Sandy (Myrl) Harmon of Huntington, Judy (John) Williams of Huntington and Machelle (Colin) Bullock of Huntington; several uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces.  Her mother and a nephew, Chad Smith, preceded her in death.

     Visitation will be Monday (May 19, 2008) from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday (May 20, 2008) at the The Vine (Coffee d’Vine), 44 Vine Street, Huntington with an hour of visitation prior to the service.  Pastor Jeff Carrell and Pastor Mark Hoffer will officiate.  Burial will be in the Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
