Obituaries   

      Ruby L. Teusch, 84, 1580 Etna Avenue, Huntington, died at 4:55 a.m. Saturday (June 18, 2005) at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne.

      Mrs. Teusch was a homemaker and member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington.

     Mrs. Teusch was born on August 11, 1920, in Huntington, a daughter of Donald and Elizabeth (Couch) Burns.  She married Clarence Teusch on January 16, 1937 in Huntington.  He preceded her in death on October 23, 1962.      

     Survivors include; 1 son – Michael Teusch of Florida; 2 daughters – Suzanne Raper of Huntington and Mrs. Larry (Dorie) Heyde of Huntington; 35 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Sons - Donald, Jack, Tom and Joe Teusch; a daughter – Linda Shepperd; brothers – James, Edwin and Wilmer Burns; sisters – Edith Hobbs and Janet Slater; grandson – Benjamin Shepperd; and great-grandchildren – Brittish Duncan and Joey Shepperd preceded her in death.

     Visitation will be from 1-4 pm Monday (June 20, 2005) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 4 pm Monday (June 20, 2005) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with  Father John Guimond officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ruby L. Teusch may be made to the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN  46750.
