Remembrance Video for Robert Lee Spillman

Robert Lee Spillman, age 72, 915 Clark Street, Huntington,
died at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday (March 6, 2008) at his home.
Mr. Spillman retired from Dana where he worked for over 40 years as a machinist. Robert served as a SP4 in the United States Army during the Cold War.
Robert was born on July 17, 1935, in Logansport, the son of Carl and Bessy Mae (Rue) Spillman. He married Carol Woehler on April 25, 1964, in Huntington.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years – Carol Spillman of Huntington, two sons – Jerry L. Spillman of Indianapolis, and Todd A. Spillman of Andrews; one daughter – Kathy R. Ankrom of Fulton, IL; one brother – Burl Spillman of Mishawaka, IN; and 8 grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Tyre.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday (March 10, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday (March 11, 2008) at the Bailey-Love Mortuary with George Dorsett officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County, with military graveside services provided by the V.F.W. Post #2689.
