Remembrance Video for Robert M. Barker
Robert M. Barker, age 59, 1405 Garfield St., Huntington, died at
12:30 a.m. Friday (June 22, 2007) at his home.
Mr. Barker was retired from the Erie Railroad where he worked from 1966-1981. Prior to that, he worked as an engineer/fireman with Conrail Railroad. Bob was a member of the Huntington Moose Lodge and the American Legion Post 253 of North Webster, IN.
Bob was born on May 31, 1948 in Huntington, to Thomas K. and Pauline (Stultz) Barker. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1966 and was a lifetime resident of Huntington.
Survivors include one son – Chad (Amy) Barker of Decatur, IN; two daughters – Stacie Barker of Fresno, California and Shannon Barker of Fresno, California; one brother – Thomas K. Barker, Jr. of North Webster, IN; one Uncle – Gene Stultz of Marion, IN; and 12 grandchildren. His father (1992) and his mother (2003) preceded him in death.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday (June 26, 2007) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday (June 27, 2007) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Russell Buzzard officiating. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
