Richard E. Fox, age 74, 8 Queens Court, Roanoke, IN died at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday (June 18, 2008) at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

     Richard retired as a salesperson.  He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Wabash County, the Indiana American Legion, the Scatter 8’s and Twin Bridge Square Dance Clubs and several others in the area.

     Richard was born January 30, 1934 in Chester Township, Wabash County, the son of Robert E. and Aletha O. (Christman) Fox.  He graduated from Bippus High School in 1952 and was a veteran of the United States Army.  He married Donna J. Lassiter on September 5, 1958 in Andrews, IN.

     Survivors include his wife – Donna J. Fox of Roanoke; two sons – Richard E.  (Dianne) Fox, Jr. of Urbana, IN and Daniel J. (Linda) Fox of North Manchester, IN; one brother – Keith E. Fox of Columbia City, IN; two sisters – Joan Drayer of Huntington and Linda Hunnicutt of Andrews; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

     Visitation will be 3 - 7 p.m. Sunday (June 22, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday (June 23, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Webb officiating.  Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Servia, IN.
