Oscar M. Faurote, age 5, 5679 West 200 North, died Friday (July 20, 2007), at 1:12 p.m. in the Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital, Ft. Wayne.

     Oscar was a lifetime resident of Huntington.  He enjoyed his cheetah catnip mouse, watching the hamsters, sitting on board games (in the center of family activities), napping with family members, and sleeping on peoples’ heads.

     He was born on April 20, 2002 in Huntington.

     Survivors include his adopted parents – Allyson and Mackenzie Faurote of Huntington; grandmother – Marcy Faurote of Huntington; companions – Chloe (the cat), Brownie (the dog), and Scottie & Hilary (the hamsters).

     A private family graveside service was held at 4 p.m. Saturday (July 21, 2007).  Burial was in the Faurote family plot.
