Bailey - Love Mortuary of Huntington, Indiana, has seen many changes since the year 1910, when Frank H. Bailey opened the doors to the Bailey Mortuary for the first time. To keep up with the demands and changing times, Frank and his son, Carl, built a new state-of-the-art mortuary in 1940, which we are still located in to this day. Since 1990, when Christopher B. Love & family purchased the mortuary, it has undergone several renovations to make sure that our facility is large and attractive enough to meet the needs of the community.

Today, amid all of the large conglomerate funeral homes, we remain a family-owned and operated mortuary. We do not answer to someone who is out-of-state, or who does not understand the benefits of a small town atmosphere.  We work with
our families to make things as easy as possible.  There is no pressure on us from the corporate headquarters to “perform” by reaching quotas.  You make all the decisions based upon your finances.  We do not want you to spend anymore than your pockets can afford.

We will help you create a ceremony that is meaningful and completely affordable for you and your family. Whether burial and/or cremation, our staff can take care of all the arrangements, relieving you of unnecessary burdens.

Chris, a graduate of IMS (Indiana College of Mortuary Science), and licensed since 1977, is the third generation of funeral directors in his family.  Chris, as owner, has the right to change policies and be sympathetic in times of need for our families.

We will always be here for you.
