Norman Dale Beeks, age 77, Jasonville, IN, died Wednesday (September 26, 2007) home surrounded by family.

     Mr. Beeks was employed as a driver in Jasonville and a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God.   He graduated from Andrews High School in 1948.   He served with the United States Army during the Korean War.

      Norman was born on May 5, 1930 in Andrews, IN, the son of Wilbur and Cleo (Aldridge) Beeks.

     Survivors include his wife Brenda Ann Beeks of Jasonville, IN; one son – Tommy Beeks of Jasonville, IN; five daughters – Pam Maples of Ft. Wayne, IN, Cindy (Eugene) McNeil of Jasonville, IN, Pat (Jay) Auxier of Muncie, IN, Laura Knox of Greenwood, IN and Dawn Beeks of Jasonville, IN; four sisters – Anna Osborn of Muncie, IN, Norma (Dorman) Blair of Huntington, Bonnie (Wilbert) Sibold of Huntington and Barbara (Darl) Collins of Huntington; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  Norman is preceded in death by his parents and sons – Alan Beeks and Randy Beeks.

     Visitation will be 12 – 4 p.m. Saturday (September 29, 2007) at Gethsemane Ministries Church, 2239 Hartman Street, Huntington.  Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday (September 29, 2007) at the church with Pastor Worlie Newsome, Jr. officiating.  Burial will be in the Andrews Riverside Cemetery, Andrews, IN.   The V.F.W. Post #2689 will perform military graveside rites.
