Remembrance Video for Maybelle E. Pasko
Maybelle E. Pasko, age 91, 1675
East 200 North, Huntington, died Monday (November 14, 2005) at 3:20 pm at
Markle Health Care, Markle, IN.
Mrs. Pasko, a lifetime resident of Huntington County, was a homemaker and lived all of her married life in Union Township. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene where, in her earlier years, she taught Sunday school, was the Vacation Bible School Director, a Junior Supervisor, performed in Christmas plays and played the coronet in the church band. Maybelle was a member of the Comfort Club in Union Township.
Mrs. Pasko was born on August 21, 1914 in Lancaster, IN, the daughter of the late Samuel Elmer and Lora (Heaston) Minton. She married Leroy Dale Pasko on January 14, 1935 in Huntington County and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1986. Maybelle graduated from Huntington High School in 1932.
Survivors include two sons – Max L. (Judith) Pasko of Ft. Wayne, IN and Phillip D. (Jean) Pasko of Huntington, IN; one sister – Kathryn Beaver of Marion, IN; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Five brothers – Benjamin H. Minton, Ralph W. Minton, Israel H. Minton, Wilbur F. Minton and Walter E. Minton, and one sister – Fern Irene Young, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday (November 18, 2005) at the Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday (November 19, 2005) at the Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Gene Vickery officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
