Matthew Allen Martinez, age 14, 9054 North 319 West, Huntington, died Wednesday (January 9, 2008) at the Parkview Huntington Hospital.

     Matthew was a 7^th grade student at Crestview Middle School.  He loved to play video games, listen to audio books, and his Northwest Elementary and Crestview Schools and teachers.  Matthew loved to make people laugh and he had a great sense of humor.

     Matthew was born on October 19, 1993 in Tampa Bay, Florida, the son of Raul and Sandra S. (Primmer) Martinez, Jr.

     Survivors include his parents of Huntington, five brothers – Raul Martinez, III of Huntington, Steven Royce (Tara) Martinez of Huntington, David Glenn Martinez of Clover, South Carolina, Christopher Michal Martinez of Huntington and Luke Huston of Huntington; one sister - Elizabeth Ann Martinez of Huntington, and grandparents - Charles and Sandra Primmer of Huntington and Barbara Ann Pullin of Tampa Bay, Florida. Also, uncles - David Gonzalas of Tampa Bay, Florida, Charles Primmer, Jr. of Huntington, Nathan Primmer of Huntington; aunts – Sharon Martinez of Tampa Bay, Florida, Hidi Primmer of Huntington, Amanda Primmer of Huntington and Dawn Brown of Huntington; nephews – David Glenn Martinez, Jr. and Royce Allen Martinez; niece – Gabrilla Lynn Martinez, and several cousins.

     Visitation will be Saturday (January 12, 2008) at the Bailey-Love Mortuary from 12 – 2 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday (January 12, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery, Huntington County, IN.
