Remembrance Video for Mary "Bea" Culver
Mary Bea Culver, age 87, Huntington, died at 9:31 p.m.
Tuesday (March 4, 2008) at the Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mrs. Culver retired from Essex wire in Andrews in 1977, where she worked as a machine operator. Mary attended Bible Baptist Church in Huntington. Mary volunteered in food service at the Huntington Senior Center. She loved and cared for her family.
Mary was born on March 19, 1920 in Nelson County, KY, the daughter of John Henry and Viola P. (Kennedy) Case. She married John William Culver in Nelson County, KY, on September 24, 1940, and he preceded her in death in January of 1976.
Survivors include five sons Paul K. (Penny) Culver of Bardstown, KY, Charles R. Culver of Ft. Wayne, William M. (Lynn) Culver of Elizabethtown, KY, Keith (Donna) Culver of Huntington, and Tommy G. (Jasmine) Culver of Huntington; eight daughters Mrs. Granville (Nellie) Patrick of Peru, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Farnsworth of Huntington, Mrs. Joseph (Lois) Vittitoe of Huntington, Mrs. Paul (Joyce) Durbin of Bardstown, KY, Betty Hethcote of Bardstown, KY, Mrs. Greg (Brenda) Gabel of Pheonix, AZ, Mrs. Marvin (Sharon) Babb of Huntington, and Mrs. Mike (Connie) Crittendon of Huntington; one sister Mrs. Fred (Deloris) Lucas of North Manchester, IN; four brothers Jessie Leo Case of Wabash, George Edward Case of Wabash, Walter F. Case of Wabash, and Larry R. Case of Bippus; 43 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, and 9 greatgreat grandchildren. Her parents, two sons Carl Wayne and Donald Ray Culver, one sister Mildred Foster, two brothers Carlos Case and Thomas Henry Case, two grandson Robert Lee Culver and John William Culver, one great grandson Jacob Culver, and two great granddaughters Jessie Dell Carey and DeLaney C. Hancock preceded her in death.
Visitation will be 2 7 p.m. Friday (March 7, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday (March 8, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Daniel Boone. Burial will be held at Bardstown Cemetery, Bardstown, KY at 11:00 am on Monday (March 10, 2008). Burial arrangements are being taken care of through Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home, 212 South Third Street, Bardstown, Kentucky.
