Remembrance Video for Mary O. Coffman
Mary O. Coffman, age 92, 714 Bartlett Street, Huntington,
died Monday (January 22, 2007) at 11:03 a.m. at the Parkview
Hospital in Ft. Wayne.
Mrs. Coffman had been an Avon Representative in Marion, Ohio for many years. She was a member of the Community Faith Church of God, Women’s group of the church, Erie Lackawanna Ladies Auxiliary and the Grandmothers Club all of Huntington.
Mrs. Coffman was born on July 11, 1914 in Columbus, IN, the daughter of George F. and Vesta D. Hacker Walters and she was a 1932 graduate of the French Lick High School in French Lick, IN.
Mrs. Coffman married William E. Coffman in 1932 in Sidell, IN, and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1988.
Survivors include her daughter – Patricia L. Gibson of Huntington, one brother George F. Walters, Jr. of Birmingham, AL, one sister Mrs. Earl (Betty) Stacy of Batavia, OH, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One son Dale Coffman, four brothers, William J. Walters, Edward Lee Walters, Russell C. Walters, Norman E. Walters and one sister Maxine Brumbaugh, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till noon on Wednesday (January 24, 2007) at the Faith Community Church of God, 3615 North Norwood Road. Funeral services will be at 12 noon Wednesday (January 24, 2007) with Rev. Stephen Stull officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
