Obituaries   

     Marlene B. Little, age 52, 10739 South  700 West-35, Marion, IN, died Saturday (August 20, 2005) at 8:30 p.m. at her daughter’s home in Cissna Park, IL.

     Mrs. Little was a secretary and agent for Thorne Insurance for over 19 years.  She also helped her husband, John, on their Wayne Township farm.  A lifetime resident of Huntington County, Mrs. Little loved to knit and crochet.  She was looking forward to being a “grandma.”

     Mrs. Little was born on July 22, 1953 in Huntington, the daughter of William “Bill” and Gladys (Hedrick) Thorne. She married John R. Little on July 6, 1974 in Huntington.  Mrs. Little was a 1971 graduate of Huntington North High School.

     Survivors include her husband of 31 years – John R. Little of Marion, IN; one daughter - Mrs. Neal (Sarah) Neukomm of Cissna Park, IL; one brother – Rex (Cheri) Thorne of Bargersville, IN and one sister – Marilyn Killen of Roanoke, IN.         

     Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday (August 23, 2005) Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (August 24, 2005) with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Russell Buzzard and Mike Copp officiating.  Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Marion, IN.      

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Marlene B. Little may be made to Parkview Home Health Care in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN 46750.
