Mark D. Adkins, age 45, 626 N. Wayne St., Warren, IN, died Thursday (August 10, 2006) at 3:32 a.m. at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

     Mr. Adkins was employed at Northern Indiana Packaging in Huntington for the last 6 years and Indiana Corrugated in Warren for 16 years prior to that.  He was a member of the Van Buren American Legion Post # 368 and the Jonesboro American Legion Post #95. 

     Mr. Adkins was born February 23, 1961 in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Earl and Ethel (Johnson) Adkins.  He was a 1979 graduate of Huntington North High School. 

     Survivors include his mother – Ethel Adkins of Warren, IN; two sons – Erik D. (Kathryn) Adkins of Taylors, SC and Garrett D. Adkins of Warren, IN; one daughter – Cassidy J. Adkins of Warren, IN; five brothers – Roy Adkins of Zanesville, IN, Mike Adkins of West Texas, Jerry Adkins of Huntington, Tim Adkins of Huntington and Randy Adkins of Warren, IN; one sister – Sharon Adkins of Warren, IN; and five grandchildren.  His father preceded him in death.

     Visitation will be from 10 am –12 p.m. on Saturday (August 12, 2006) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday (August 12, 2006) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Robert O. Bothast officiating.
