Obituaries

Marie Enyeart, 99, former Union Township resident, Huntington, died Tuesday (March 22, 2005) at  8:35 a.m. at the United Methodist Memorial Home, Warren, where she resided.

     Mrs. Enyeart, a homemaker, worked for Bell Telephone Company in Huntington.  She also had worked as an operator at the LaFontaine Hotel for many years.  A lifetime resident of Huntington, she was a member of the First Brethren Church where she served as a pre-school Sunday school teacher.  She also belonged to the Women’s Missionary Society, of the church, and the Union Township Extension Homemakers Club. 

     Mrs. Enyeart was born in Huntington, on July 8, 1905, the daughter of John E. and May (First) Taylor.  She married Russell M. Enyeart on April 5, 1927 in Warsaw, IN and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1993.

     Survivors include 1 son – Max (Bernice) Enyeart of Huntington; 1 grandson – John Enyeart of Huntington and 1 great-grandson – Daniel Enyeart of Huntington.  Two brothers, Mylo and Merrill Taylor, preceded her in death.       

     Visitation will be 2- 4 & 6-8 pm Thursday (March 24, 2005) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be at 10 am Friday (March 25, 2005) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Dianna Teusch officiating.  Burial will be at Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington County.

     Preferred memorials may be made to the First Brethren Church Building Fund, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN  46750.
