Lucas Hayes Sunderman, age 21, 555 South Warren Road, Huntington, died Saturday (September 23, 2006) at 1:10 a.m. as the result of an automobile accident on 200 West north of Division Road, Huntington County.

     Mr. Sunderman worked for Affordable Luxury Homes in Markle, IN and 4 years with Close Builders in Bippus, IN.  He also farmed with his family on their Lancaster Township farm.  Lucas loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.  He graduated in 2003 from Huntington North High School and continued his education receiving an Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting from ITT in Ft. Wayne.

     Mr. Sunderman was born on February 6, 1985, in Huntington, to Christopher H. and Ronda (Whitacre) Sunderman.

     Survivors include his parents; one sister – Skyler Sunderman at home; grandparents – William and Marllyn Randol of Huntington and Ronald and Joyce Whitacre of Huntington; several uncles, aunts and cousins.  His grandfather, Robert Sunderman, preceded him in death.

     Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Monday (September 25, 2006) at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN  46750.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday (September 26, 2006) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Todd Thomas officiating.  Burial will be in the Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington County.
