Judith Kay (Judy) Byrd, 65, of Huntington, died at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday (April 30, 2008) at the Norwood Health Care in Huntington.

     Judy, a lifetime resident of Huntington, worked at Memcor for many years and prior to that at Nick’s Kitchen.

     Judy was born August 2, 1942 in Huntington, the daughter of Edward D. and Edith M. (Burns) Hobbs.

     Survivors include a son – Richard D. (Ricky) Byrd of Greenwood, IN; three sisters – Sue Hobbs of Albany, IN, Edith (Fred) Ditton of Huntington and Kim Hobbs of Huntington; a brother – Doug (Sharon) Hobbs of Huntington and several nephews and nieces.  Her parents and a brother, Max Hobbs, preceded her in death.

     Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday (May 3, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday (May 3, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Russell Buzzard officiating.  Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster, IN.
