Remembrance Video for John Adam Judy

     John Adam Judy, age 75, Warren, died 9:45 p.m. Tuesday (May 13, 2008) at Norwood Nursing Center in Huntington.

     Mr. Judy retired in 1998 after 30 years with Celotex in Lagro, IN. John was a past Commander and member of the American Legion Post #248 in Lagro. He was also a member and Trustee of the Sons of the V.F.W. Post # 2689 and the Moose both in Huntington.

     John was born on February 27, 1933 in Wabash County, IN the son of Gilbert and Genevieve (Eckman) Judy.  He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving with the United States Air Force.  John truly loved life and his laughter was contagious.  He was an avid fisherman who loved camping and mushroom hunting.

     Survivors include his companion - Lois E. Hall of Warren, four sons – Scott (Diane) Judy of Wabash, Ron (Stephanie) Judy of North Manchester, Tony (Stephanie Logan) Judy of North Manchester and Lance Judy of Andrews; one sister – Mary (Bob) Vincents of Jacksonville, FL.  Eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive.  His parents, one son, Mark Judy, and two brothers, Jerry Judy and Steven Judy, preceded him in death.

     Visitation will be 3 – 7 p.m. Friday (May 16, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday (April 17, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Bob Bothast officiating.  Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery, Wabash County, IN.  The V.F.W. Post # 2689 will perform the graveside rites.

     Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services for Huntington County in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN  46750.
