Jeremiah R. Burns, age 25, 503 Grayston Avenue, Huntington, died Wednesday (November 8, 2006) at his home.

     Mr. Burns was employed as a machinist with Bendix and prior to that at Bryan Machine Service both in Huntington.  A resident of Huntington for most of his life, Jeremiah graduated from Huntington North High School in 1999.

     Jeremiah was born on February 1, 1981 in Janesville, Wisconsin, the son of Leo Burns and Jane Schurz.

     Survivors include his father – Leo Burns of Boscobel, Wisconsin; his mother – Jane Schurz of Huntington; one half brother – Mike Burns of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; half sister - Cindy Armstrong of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two stepsisters – Tori Myer of Beloit, Wisconsin and Traci Myer of Beloit, Wisconsin; grandparents – Lawrence and Claris Schurz of Rewey, Wisconsin and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

     Visitation will be 4 – 8 p.m. Sunday (November 12, 2006) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Private family funeral services will be held Tuesday (November 14, 2006) at Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort, Wisconsin.
