Princess Jasmine Jacobs, golden retriever, 12, died Tuesday,
December 18, 2007 in her home, 36 Stone Ridge Drive, Huntington.
She was born June 18, 1995 in Fort Wayne and was adopted as a puppy
by Deborah K. Jacobs.
Jasmine was raised in Fort Wayne until 2000, when she and Deb moved to Huntington. She enjoyed a long walk every day to greet neighbors, chase bunnies and have a nice roll in the grass. She loved belly rubs, stuffed animals, liver cake, pig’s ears, and two or more Greenies a day, as well as other treats. In the summer months, Jasmine liked to cool off in the family pool and swimming laps at the Sharpe family pond.
Deb, as well as her two-legged sister, Amber, survived Jasmine. She was especially fond of her two-legged boyfriend, Brian, her Aunt Sus, Aunt Janelle, Uncle Butch, and her beloved best friend Skye Sharpe, a border collie. Jasmine had an exceptionally sweet and loving nature and spent her life surrounded by family and friends who loved and cared for her.
Memorial donations may be made to the Huntington County Humane Shelter, 390 Thurman Poe Way, Huntington, IN 46750.
