Remembrance Video for Harold E. "Pickle" Heiney

Harold E. “Pickle” Heiney, age 92, Huntington, died at 11:13
p.m., Thursday (March 13, 2008) at the Parkview Huntington
Hospital.
Mr. Heiney was a lifetime farmer of Huntington County. Harold also was an extraordinary carpenter. Harold was a sergeant in the army during WWII. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Huntington, belonged to the V.F.W. Post 2689, and Bippus Lions Club.
Harold was born on January 10, 1916 in Huntington County, the son of Samuel Levi and Avis Mae (Lannerd) Heiney. He married Agnes Ann Pfister in Huntington County, on July 5, 1941, and she preceded him in death on November 9, 1986.
Survivors include three sons – David L. Heiney of Huntington, Dennis H. (Diane) Heiney of Montpelier, OH, Joseph E. (Judy) Heiney of Churubusco, IN; two daughters – Jean Ann Heiney of Wakefield, MA, Martha L. Heiney of Machesney Park, IL; one brother – Harry A. Heiney of Alexandria, VA; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. His parents, wife, two brothers – Lannerd and Doyle Heiney, and sister – Mildred Amick preceded him in death.
Visitation will be 3 – 8 p.m. Monday (March 17, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday (March 18, 2008), with visitation 1 hour prior to the service, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry St., with Father John Guimond and Father John Pfister officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Creek Cemetery, Huntington County.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Masses and Alzheimer’s Association in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN 46750.
