Freddie Taylor, age 84, Huntington, of Norwood Nursing Center, died Friday (January 18, 2008) at the Parkview Huntington Hospital.

     She was born December 23, 1923 in Glenwood, Arkansas, a daughter of Oscar O. and Rose E. (Pearl) Brown.  She was a member of the First Brethren Church.  She married Raymond Taylor on December 5, 1946 in Kirby, Arkansas. He preceded her in death in May of 1983.

     Survivors include two sons – Kenneth R. (Linda) Taylor of Huntington, and Dennis K. (Cathy) Taylor of Wabash County, IN; one daughter – Mrs. Kenneth (Audrey) Wall of Mobil, Alabama; three sisters – Mrs. Tom (Eva) Carver of St. Mary’s, Ohio, Ina Joe Gilts of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Charlene Nazzio of Railto, California; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Her parents, husband, a grandson – Brandon Thorn, two brothers – Rupert and Jadie Brown, four sisters – Mable Parker, Etna Bloomstrand, Gladys Thompson, and Lesie Arivett preceded her in death.

     Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Tuesday (January 22, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday (January 23, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Dianna Teusch officiating. Burial will take place in the Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
