Obituaries
Freddie Taylor, age 84,
Huntington,
of Norwood Nursing Center, died Friday (January 18, 2008) at the
Parkview Huntington Hospital.
She was born December 23, 1923 in Glenwood, Arkansas, a daughter of Oscar O. and Rose E. (Pearl) Brown. She was a member of the First Brethren Church. She married Raymond Taylor on December 5, 1946 in Kirby, Arkansas. He preceded her in death in May of 1983.
Survivors include two sons Kenneth R. (Linda) Taylor of Huntington, and Dennis K. (Cathy) Taylor of Wabash County, IN; one daughter Mrs. Kenneth (Audrey) Wall of Mobil, Alabama; three sisters Mrs. Tom (Eva) Carver of St. Marys, Ohio, Ina Joe Gilts of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Charlene Nazzio of Railto, California; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, a grandson Brandon Thorn, two brothers Rupert and Jadie Brown, four sisters Mable Parker, Etna Bloomstrand, Gladys Thompson, and Lesie Arivett preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 7 pm Tuesday (January 22, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday (January 23, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Dianna Teusch officiating. Burial will take place in the Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
Memorials may be made to the First Brethren Church, 245 S. Marion Road, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive Huntington, IN.
