Dorothy M. Tomlinson, age 93, 1427 Sabine Street, Huntington, died at 4:25 am Monday (March 13, 2006) at the home of her nephew.

     Mrs. Tomlinson retired in 1975 from the Utrad in Huntington and previously worked at the Huntington Hotel.  A lifetime resident of Huntington, she was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church. 

     Mrs. Tomlinson was born on March 6, 1913 in Lagro, IN, the daughter of Horace and Viva M. (Ballard) Grimes.  She married Talmage Tomlinson on October 22, 1930 in Huntington and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1981.           

     Survivors include one son – Jack Edward (Delores) Tomlinson of New Haven, IN; one brother – Charles (Betty) Grimes of Huntington; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.  Four brothers, John Grimes, Kenneth Grimes, Horace Grimes Jr. and Robert Grimes, and sister, Helen Oswalt, preceded her in death     

     Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday (March 15, 2006) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday (March 16, 2006) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Marti Lundy officiating.  Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
