Danny J. Hofferbert, age 60, 336 Hannah Street, Huntington, died at 3:25 a.m. Thursday (February 14, 2008) at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

     Mr. Hofferbert worked 34 years at Dana Coupling Products in Andrews, IN until it closed in August 2006.  Danny attended Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington.

     Danny was born on July 22, 1947 in Marion, IN the son of Norval Jacob and Rebecca May (Collins) Hofferbert.  Danny was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War.

     Survivors include his mother – Rebecca M. Hofferbert of Marion, IN, two sisters – Janet M. Elett of Huntington and Wanda E. (David) Weesner of Huntington.  His father and a brother, Norval D. Hofferbert, preceded him in death.

     Visitation will be 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday (February 17, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday (February 18, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Father Ron Rieder.  Burial will be held at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, IN with military graveside services provided by the V.F.W. Post #2689.
